Pitlochry Festival Theatre - Summer Season 2011
The Pitlochry Festival Theatre offers an enriching experience for Summer 2010, some superb entertainment along with lavish costumes, beautifully realised sets and thrilling performances from their talented and versatile acting company.
The flagship production will be Cole Porter’s musical comedy, Kiss Me, Kate along with Michael Frayn’s classic theatrical comedy, Noises Off; Oscar Wilde’s dangerous, witty and ever popular An Ideal Husband; and a riotous nautical comedy, Rough Crossing by Tom Stoppard. From across the pond, there’s a second slice of Americana in Bus Stop, William Inge’s bittersweet romance. And to complete this wide-ranging selection from around the world, there’s Zola’s Nana adapted by Olwen Wymark: sinful, scandalous and sexually charged!
