Designed by Willie Fernie and established in 1908, Pitlochry is a neat little course located at the north end of the village. A gradual climb over the first three holes is well rewarded by the view from the fourth. Generous fairways and many natural hazards make this an ideal holiday course.
Killin Golf Club have 2 courses, the main 9 hole course, and a wee course within it for the juniors. This "wee course" consists of 8 par 3's and a par 4, it is played from separate tees and to separate greens marked with white flags.
The Blair Atholl nine hole course is located just a few miles away from Craigatin House, close to the geographical centre of Scotland. Nearby is Blair Castle, home of the Duke of Atholl and his private army of Atholl Highlanders.
There are two eighteen hole courses at the Blairgowrie Golf Club - the Rosemount designed by James Braid and the Lansdowne designed in the 1970's by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas. In addition there is an excellent 9 hole - The Wee Course - it is easy to arrange a day's golf at Blairgowrie.
The course was laid out in 1909 by Captain Steuart of Ballechin. Strathtay Golf Club is a short but spectacular course with four par 4s and 5 par 3s. The course now has 9 fine greens and 18 tees, so that players will effectively be playing 18 different holes.
Aberfeldy Golf Club was founded in 1895 along the south bank of the River Tay. Aberfeldy is a very scenic, flat parkland course, suitable for all ages. However there are plenty challenges to overcome with lots of water hazards meandering through the course.
