Pitlochry Festival Theatre
Located in Pitlochry and founded in 1951, the Pitlochry Festival Theatre is one of the finest attractions in the local area. Known as 'Scotland's Theatre in the Hills' - Pitlochry Theatre shows a wide selection of plays ranging from farce and comedy to tragedy, catering for appreciative audiences which return every year to enjoy this theatre's special strengths.
In 2016, for the first time since 1996, the unique British theatrical phenomenon that is PFT’s repertoire season will contain seven productions.
Not only that, but the 2016 Season will also feature two very special theatre events: the first Rodgers & Hammerstein musical ever to be staged at PFT - the much-loved, deeply moving Carousel - and the first UK revival in over ten years of Ayckbourn’s extraordinary Damsels In Distress trilogy.
In addition to the six shows, there will be the usual Summer season events of Sunday Concerts, Active Arts Workshops, Master Classes, Tours and Talks!
